SESLHD, Health Promotion Service is currently recruiting for an experienced Health Promotion Officer to join their Healthy Children Initiative (HCI) team.
The purpose of this position is to support local implementation of the NSW HCI, a long-term prevention program aiming to increase physical activity and healthy eating in children and families as part of a state-wide program funded by the NSW Ministry of Health.
The position will work within a team to implement and monitor selected HCI components in a range of settings, including family day care, early childhood education and care services, primary school and community settings in South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). Further responsibilities may include supporting the implementation of other HCI programs including the Go4Fun program (children 7-13 years), and other health promotion projects in line with organisational priorities.
